This is deliberately the least abstract pillar. Whatever gets built here has to survive contact with real users and real data on day one, which shapes every decision that follows in the pillars after it. A polished prototype that's never touched real usage patterns will make different — and usually wrong — architectural assumptions than something built to be used.
That's why Build isn't scoped as a proof of concept. It's scoped as the first real version of the product, platform, or experience — intelligent products, connected platforms, mobile applications, SaaS products, AI-first experiences, and B2B platforms are all things we build to be used, not demoed.
