The Challenge
Ventara had already built a genuinely good product: smart, continuous-exchange ventilation systems engineered for airtight Indian homes, reducing CO2 buildup, filtering fine particulates, and balancing humidity automatically. The product worked. The growth model underneath it didn't scale with it — every rupee of revenue depended on finding, qualifying, and converting one homeowner at a time through a free-assessment funnel, and every new city meant restarting that same expensive acquisition cycle from zero.
That ceiling isn't a marketing problem you fix with a better ad. It's a distribution problem: a product sold strictly direct-to-consumer can only grow as fast as individual household acquisition allows, no matter how good the installation experience or the underlying technology is.
Our Approach
We repositioned Ventara from a product a homeowner discovers and buys to infrastructure a developer, architect, or facility manager specifies before a building is even handed over. That shift in who the actual buyer is changes everything downstream — the pitch, the proof points, the sales motion — and it's the decision that had to happen before any channel or platform work could follow.
We built the partner-channel GTM alongside the existing consumer funnel: relationships with real estate developers, architects and MEP consultants, and facility and office management companies, each able to commit Ventara across dozens or hundreds of units in a single relationship instead of closing one household at a time.
The existing consumer lead-generation system had to support a second, structurally different sales motion without splitting into two separate systems. We extended the underlying platform to carry partner-sourced, multi-unit projects alongside individual consumer assessments from the same operational backbone, so the B2B motion didn't require rebuilding anything that already worked.

The Result
Within six months of the GTM repositioning, Ventara's annual recurring revenue grew from $0.5M to $2M — roughly 4x — with the majority of that growth coming through B2B partnership channels rather than incremental consumer lead volume. The shift turned a linear, one-household-at-a-time acquisition model into a channel-based distribution engine, where a single developer or facility partnership can carry Ventara into dozens of units at once instead of one homeowner at a time.
